NEW FOR 2009: Golf Event Management (Gem) has launched a brand new Winter Series where Irish PGA professionals and amateurs golfers have the opportunity to compete on some of the best links courses along the east coast of Ireland.

The Winter Series comprises four events and gets underway at Greenore Golf Club on Monday, January 19th and will run until the showpiece event at the famous Royal County Down Golf Club on Monday, March 23rd.

Events will also be staged at Seapoint Golf Club on Monday, February 9th and the renowned Co Louth Golf Club – home to the perennial East of Ireland Championship and former Irish Open venue - on Monday, March 2nd.

Each Winter Series event is open to all Irish PGA professionals and amateur golfers with an affiliated handicap.

Two competitions will run in conjunction at each of the venues, an individual strokeplay event for PGA professionals plus strokeplay gross and nett competitions for amateurs.

Prize money (PGA vouchers for amateurs) is guaranteed and will be determined by the number of golfers at each event.

To book your place on any of the timesheets contact Seamus or Paul or email Golf Event Management at info@golfgem.co.uk
